Auburn Murders

A clean-shaven Edward Albert Seibold this weekend is on his way back to Alabama to face charges of murdering three girls at Auburn, Sept. 6. Alabama authorities on hand said Seibold, an Auburn University dropout and the son of a former Auburn professor, probably would be returned to Alabama during the weekend.

Grand Jury

City Commissioner Jesse Binns has been subpoenaed before the Muscogee County Grand Jury probing the Columbus Police Department. Binns is the only member, known so far, of the city administrative group who has been invited to appear before the special panel.

Religion

Nazareth Baptist Church will burn its mortgage at a ceremony at 3 p.m. Sunday, according to the Rev. Robert L. Holston, pastor.
