Muscogee County Police Chief W.F. Tuggle Tuesday disclosed that he plans to retire next March 31.

Tuggle, 59, who has been with the county for 26 years, confirmed the news after Commissioner John Rigdon asked if it were so.

Airport

Muscogee County Commission has decided to apply all the pressure it can muster on the slow-moving Federal Aviation Administration in an effort to speed up a comprehensive survey of Muscogee Airport.
