Twin Gifts

For Patrolman Charles E. Golden it was not just one but two of the most wonderful Christmas presents of all. Twins were born to Golden’s wife, Patricia Ann, shortly after midnight on Christmas morning. “I don’t believe I need anything else,” said an elated father.

“Santa” at Bryce

The Russell County Mental Health Association came up with a way to provide home-county inmates of Bryce Hospital, Tuscaloosa, Ala., with every Christmas gift they might ask for. Following a list made by the individual patients, the association contacted enough civic and social organizations to provide each patient with his own sponsor.

Coach Paul Bryant says his Alabama Crimson Tide is a little pale in comparison with some of his other teams but he has only himself to blame.
