Stolen Gifts

A car thief stole more than an auto when he made his strike last Friday. The vehicle’s trunk was loaded with a family’s Christmas gifts. Police reported a car driven by John Shirley for business and personal use was stolen between 1:30 and 2:30 Friday while it was parked on First Avenue. In the trunk were Shirley’s Christmas gifts. The car has not been recovered and the report was rebroadcast today.
