A majority of Ledger readers responding to a “Your Opinion Counts,” question this week said they favor a bill pending in the Georgia General Assembly asking that Daylight Saving Time be limited to just the summer months.

Seibold Trial

Accused triple slayer Edward Albert Seibold will go on trial as scheduled here Monday after a circuit judge Friday denied a defense motion to have Seibold commited to a state hospital for a sanity test. He will be tried for the murder of Sarah Elizabeth Sinclair, 18, her sister, Mary Lynn, 9, and Mary Durant, 8. All were slain at the Sinclair home in Auburn, Sept. 6.

Fair Wins Award

For the second year in a row, the Chattahoochee Valley Fair has taken the “Fair of the Year” award giving by the Georgia Association of Agricultural Fairs.
