A step-up in Phenix City school desegregation may be in the offing. Walter R. Riddle, superintendent, was told last week that the plan adopted last year would generally suffice, but under guidelines desegregation must be more rapid.

Education

A course in color TV set-up will be offered by the Columbus Area Vocational-Technical School, 4460 River Road, starting on Monday and continuing for seven and a half weeks.

Business

Workers returned to their jobs today at the U.S. Rubber plant here after a walkout Thursday stopped production for three days.
