Sitters Sought

A group at Wynnton Methodist Church is looking for women who might train as qualified baby sitters for handicapped children. Mrs. T. W. Garrett, of Wynnton’s Woman’s Society of Christian Service, said that due to a lack of qualified baby sitters, parents of exceptional or otherwise handicapped youngsters seldom were able to go out together.

Religion

A resolution taking a first step toward dropping racial bars in Georgia Methodism will come to a vote June 6-8 when the South Georgia Annual Conference meets at St. Simons Island.

School Blaze
