The Medical Center was today notified it has been fully certified for participation in Medicare. However, St. Francis Hospital was still awaiting notification.

H.R. Mott Dies

Hilary Richard Mott, 81, who rose from road salesman to the presidency of the soft drink company now known as Royal Crown Cola Co., died at St. Francis Hospital early today at the age of 81.

Open House

Meriwether Hospital at Warm Springs will cut the ribbons to its new medical nursing home as part of the Open House ceremonies Saturday and Sunday.
