Chattahoochee Valley readers will have a front-row seat for the fall fashion showings this week and next in New York. Ledger-Enquirer Woman’s Editor Mary Margaret Byrne left today for New York, and will file stories each day in The Ledger and The Enquirer on what’s new for fall.

Pictures Missing

Someone has removed the color pictures of the Municipal Building and the new post office from the lobby of City Hall, and Phenix City officials said Tuesday that they wished the “borrower” would please bring them back.

Miss Phenix

Miss Phenix City will be chosen Aug. 6 following a three-day pageant of beauty and talent to be opened Aug. 4 with a parade through town.
