Viet Nam Buildup Nears Korea level

The strength of U.S. armed forces in Viet Nam will approach the Korean War peak next year unless peace talks take place in the meantime, military officials said Saturday. They said the limit was not yet in sight-that the present buildup will continue into the fall at a stepped up pace even though previous manpower goals have been surpassed.

The United States plans to shoot for the moon Tuesday, hoping to rocket a flying photography lab into orbit about our celestial neighbor to snap pictures of potential astronaut landing sites.
