Eufaula Festival

Folks from Alabama and Georgia flocked by the hundreds to Eufaula Saturday for the second big day of the third annual Lake Eufaula festival.

‘Shine’

Anti-liquor agents raided three Columbus homes Friday night and early Saturday and arrested four persons. The raids were pulled by members of the newly-formed Columbus Muscogee County Moonshine Liquor Detail.

Key Appointed

James W. (Billy) Key, 6450 Waterford Rd., has been appointed by Gov. Carl E. Sanders to the Georgia Recreation Commission. Key is well known in this area as an amateur golfer.
