A multi-million dollar expansion of Officer Candidate School facilities at Fort Benning was announced today. The Army last week announced that it was tripling the output of new officers from the Fort Benning OCS from 2,600 to some 7,000.

Thompson Qualifies

Albert W. Thompson, Muscogee County’s first Negro legislator in the present century, has qualified for re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives.
