Don’t buy into the media bias
The presidential debates (?) are over and now it is up to the legal American voters to choose our next leader. After watching them I learned nothing new to change/alter my choice. In my opinion, the moderators with the exception of Chris Wallace (Lester Holt, Anderson Cooper, and Martha Raddatz) clearly demonstrated bias toward Mrs. Clinton and their national news employers are biased as well. They were more intent on probing Mr. Trump’s taxes and credits which are legal under our current tax code and allegedly groping at least 10 women, who have come forward out of the closet/woodwork like roaches, after decades. I thought I was listening to a re-run of the Bill Cosby saga. These are fantasy women who want to be in the limelight.
If I were a moderator, I would have probed heavily her e-mail use and server more than just asking one question. With her years of experience, she claims she did not know what the “C” (Classified) meant. She had TS/SAP (Top Secret Special Access Programs) that could get Intel sources killed. I would pressure her more on Benghazi, which was her responsibility.
As Commander in Chief, you are to cover the backs of our entire military. If you cannot commit to four people who asked for help, you do not qualify as President. I would also ask for clarity on the foreign donations to her Clinton Foundation as well as “Pay to Play.” National news media as well as these moderators chose not to go there due to their bias.
To all the educated voters out there, lend a helping hand to the ill-informed and encourage them to take the right path and vote smartly and make America great again.

Misconduct indeed
On Friday, 10/28/2016, FBI Director James B. Comey sent to members of Congress a letter updating them on developments in the “investigation” of Hillary Clinton’s emails while employed as Secretary of State. It appears that whatever information was received came from hacked emails involving other persons with some linkage to Russian inspiration.
The noise emanating from the Trump campaign is especially disturbing because it is evident that it seeks to use this development as possible salvation for a despicable campaign destined to fail miserably on Election Day.
More disturbing is the apparent violation of The Hatch Act by Director Comey, et al. That law [5 U.S.C. 1502 et seq.] prohibits the use of an official position to influence an election. A complaint has been filed with the Office of Special Counsel to determine if he violated the Act and, if so, to remove him from office together with all who would abet such violation of irrefutable federal law. Comey has already concluded an investigation that was the subject of his testimony, together with Clinton, at congressional hearings. His letter to Congress violates longstanding Justice Department policy of not discussing specifics about any investigation with others.
It is clear that Comey is feeding politically motivated members of Congress, and we have already heard the diatribe that Clinton will be prosecuted and impeached upon being inaugurated as President. All such members should be removed from office for cause. Trump is no exception. If he inspired any of it he should be disqualified from holding elective office.
This is a nation of law, not lunacy and criminality.

‘Thaw’ threats
Aren’t Southerners supposed to be friendly and welcoming? Is the “Welcome Stranger” tax friendly and welcoming? The property tax freeze is a regressive system that fosters enclosed communities by making new homeowners pay a premium for old homeowners. Is that fair? What if you took a new job and a senior employee says, “Hey Newbee! At ABC Inc, new employees buy old employees lunch for 14 years.” You both work the same job and have adjacent cubicles. Is that friendly and welcoming
Many people are mistakenly worried that thawing the freeze will push older and poor homeowners out of their homes. Tax systems are ruled unconstitutional only if they are “hostile and oppressive to a protected class of citizens” such as race or ethnicity. The legislative delegation used Nordlinger v. Hahn (1992) to ensure constitutionality and will use the same case in defending it if challenged, a district attorney told me.
The Georgia Legislative Council drafted the “retire the freeze (gradually)” legislation. “Repeal and replace” was originally proposed. Many people are still fighting the “repeal and replace” legislation. That was not the legislation passed by the Georgia House and Senate. The exact words on the ballot are in that legislation.
It’s sad people believe the city, the chamber, and CSU are conspiring to “Thaw the Freeze” and have it challenged so that the freeze is overturned completely and everyone loses it. No. There is no non-severability clause protecting those with the freeze, because what is proposed will not affect them. The Georgia Legislative Council does not construct amendments that include meaningless language.

Trail of scandal
The lady who called Trump “Ugly American” should refer to Hillary Clinton and all her lies. She is so scared she cannot get to the White House she will end up indicted for lying to the Senate and the FBI knowing that she will never be indicted as long as Obama controls the Justice Department. That is the reason she is betting away.
She not only broke the law by having a computer in her home, but she was aware of it, which is why she destroyed everything that could implicate her.
If you want facts, look at the Bill Clinton administration and his chief of the CIA John M. Deutch, who had a computer at his home containing secret documents and Clinton later pardoned him. There is much more that can destroy the Democratic Party, and that’s why such an attack on Trump.
I know what I am talking about; I spent almost 20 years responsible for the safekeeping of classified documents, and was not allowed to travel into foreign countries except in authorized military transportation.

Seek guidance
In light of the most unusual presidential campaign ever, what does the Scripture mean: “The time is come that judgment must begin at the house …”? Is this an indictment of the White House, since it is the center of government of America, which claims to be a Christian nation? Is it a judgment on the political system?
If it is, will all politicians’ emails, voicemails, etc., be open for review, which may reveal even more of Donald Trump’s vulgar treatment of women or Hillary Clinton’s lies, and even the WikiLeaks founder playing God? Righteousness exalts a nation, unrighteousness destroys it.
In a vision the prophet Daniel saw the Ancient of Days as the son of man came to him stating the judgment and opening the books of life and remembrance.
The judgment comes to our house, not to condemn us but to remind us that our Heavenly Father has turned all judgment over to the Son of Man.

Unfit for duty
In a few days we are going to vote for the president of the United States of America.
Apparently I see something in Mr. Trump that a lot of people don’t see. I see a whole lot of disrespect.
Instead of Mr. Trump raving on about how he is going to sue all the women who have said bad things about him, or that he is going to put Hillary Clinton in jail, I think he needs to be concentrating on his qualifications and how he is going to use them.
And about all this cursing and dropping the F-bomb a few times on TV: President of the United States should be a humble and reverent position.
When Hitler was running for president of Germany he promised a chicken in every pot and a Volkswagen in every driveway. Look what the world got.
I am not comparing Mr. Trump to Hitler, but I do think we should try to understand what we might be getting if he becomes president.
Everybody is not qualified for the White House, and in my opinion Mr. Trump is not qualified.

Fair pay, or else
School bus operators in Columbus earn between $13,020-16,000-plus annually (Ledger Oct. 29). Should professionally trained drivers responsible for children's lives earn more for such a responsible job?
Government needs to pay an "honest" salary. If not, ultimately union agents will gain control of the levers of power, i.e., taxpayer money.
Georgia is becoming blue politically. Be assured the union movement will gain momentum.
Two years ago the Providence (R.I.) Journal reported that a large number of rank-and-file firefighters earned well over $140,000 for the year, with some approaching $180,000. How can any city pay these excessive union employee costs? High taxes!
In Providence, for example, if you rent a small house (non-owner occupied) valued at $490,000 your annual property taxes are about $17,000!
Why so expensive? To pay public and private sector union employees.
Pay public service employees a living wage or ultimately a union politician will.
