So, so proud of the young woman, men, and their instructors at Jordan High School for winning the national car restoration contest. Clearly, these young adults have found the focus and vision to succeed.

Founders’ wisdom

The popular vote lead Clinton has is primarily from California, Illinois and New York. The framers of the Constitution created the Electoral College specifically to keep large population states from controlling the presidency.

I can relate

As a white Southerner, I definitely understand Clark Gillett's column about prejudice against American Muslims. I can't even display the flag my great-great-great uncle died defending without fear of being assaulted or fired.

Be careful what you vote for

Congratulations Trump voters: Soon those with health insurance under Obamacare will lose it and near-seniors will lose Medicare. Social Security will be next. Good job!
