Sound Off for December 20, 2016
Deadline looms
Dear Santa: Define naughty and nice quickly, please. I only have a few more days to get this right.
Own fault
Podesta, Huma, Schultz, Brazile, etc., knew hackers were attacking DNC (among dozens of other) servers, yet continued to document their bad behavior. But their spilled secrets did not change the election.
Thorough vetting
Trump can’t pick his Secretary of State until he checks to be sure that he’s getting the worst possible man.
Bogus excuse
Democrats imply that Hillary and several legislative candidates would've won if embarrassing things they did and wrote had been kept secret from voters, so therefore the election's invalid. They did this knowing the Internet's vulnerable.
Distinctions
George Washington could not tell a lie; Richard Nixon couldn't tell the truth; Donald Trump can't tell the difference.
Won’t work
If Democrats think disenfranchised Trump voters will thank them for interfering in the Electoral College, it will backfire. Sour grapes could turn to vinegar if the GOP wins a filibuster-proof Senate majority in two years.
Think again
And you thought "The Manchurian Candidate" was just a Hollywood movie.
