Sound Off for June 9, 2017

Great start ...

The police sting on Bradley Park was a great idea and will keep our city safer. Now we need to set one up for people who think yellow lights mean speed up.

Strength and vigilance

Muslims hate Israel and terrorists are right outside their door, yet you rarely hear of terrorist attacks in Israel. Why? Because Israel is tough on terrorism. We could learn a lot from them.

Payback from the past

Until recently, homosexual marriage was outlawed throughout America, allowing discrimination. So doesn't that mean every local, state and federal government is guilty, should be fined and owes reparations for centuries of violating their constitutional rights?

Short-term objective

Dear Mr. President: What good is saving American jobs if they have no planet upon which to work?

Major improvement

Thank you for replacing "Lio" with "Pearls Before Swine." I've always felt that "Lio" was Halloween humor, bordering on sick, and got boring the rest of the year. "Pearls" is funny all year around.
