The Army taught me racial equality. The ’60s and ’70s were electric racial tension times. The U.S. Army model became the U.S. model, which has worked pretty well. Donnie never served.

Over your head?

Revenue Plan B

The Columbus City Government should create a task force that specializes in Distracted Driving on a full-time basis. The fines could be used by the city in place of the recent property tax increase.

A better idea

If mobs tear down more Confederate monuments, other mobs will retaliate and tear down Union monuments, like Gen. Sherman statues. Larger, more conspicuous Confederate statues can be erected on highly visible private properties.

Won’t happen

Don't expect Judge "God's Choice" Moore to "cleanse" Washington any more than Trump is "draining the swamp" by importing Wall Street and Russian boot lickers.
