Fitting tribute

My relatives fought, died, and killed in every war Georgia has been in, from the Revolutionary War to today's War against Muslim terrorism. The proud memorials for every war should remain regardless of who won.

Has my vote

I would like to see Mayor Tomlinson run for Congress. She is smart and has backbone. She would not be bullied like the weak Republicans who control Georgia and our sinking country.

Easy access

Ledger headline: "Three homicides in three days." Event calendar: One gun show every three weeks. (Often in a city owned venue.) Fewer truckloads of guns, fewer shootings. Duh.

Opposites

To the mysterious man who led Hogan back to his service dog, you are to be admired for your courage and compassion to animals. To the man who stole Bowser, you are empty of compassion.

Irony impaired

Trump made a speech to unify the nation and then he bans transgender volunteers from serving their nation in our armed forces. This is an absurd and petty man.
