Sound Off for September 29, 2017
Early-level sports greed
With all the controversy surrounding Nike, some are saying that they have exerted influence and infiltrated high school athletic programs, if so, sad and disgusting.
Public safety not served
When are the Columbus police going to stop chasing fleeing cars? The harm caused by chasing these fools outweighs any good. Catch them when they leave cover.
Familiar but false narrative
People from other countries are not generally harder workers, smarter, more honest, or more deserving of American jobs than Americans. This self-deprecation by Democrats is insulting, untrue and unashamedly designed to bribe future Democratic voters.
Still buying it?
Can you spell “trickle-down economics” without the word “trick?” Whenever Republicans talk about tax "reform" it means welfare for billionaires. Middle-class people have been paying their taxes a long, long time. Wise up.
Be proud, not apologetic
Pittsburgh's Alejandro Villanueva, the only Steeler to stand for America, apologized for making his teammates look bad. No, Alejandro, they made themselves look bad. They're the ones who should be apologizing.
