Nancy Sinatra tweeted, "The murderous members of the NRA should face a firing squad." Even on our best days as frequent Sound Off contributors, we could not be that ironic, much less paradoxical. Kudos.

‘Dreamer’ magic

People under 18 smuggled into foreign countries all become better citizens than minors entering legally. No criminals, and all eventually become doctors and philanthropists. Wish my folks had smuggled me into Australia or somewhere!

Kindred spirits

I guess Trump isn’t the only one who hits back harder than he is hit. Putin is pretty vindictive and mean-spirited, too.

Want to slow down draining Social Security? Remove the earnings cap so big earners keep paying.

We live in the United States of NRA, so don't whine if some deranged person guns down a person you love with a legal firearm.

Across the board

If you're going to enact a zero tolerance policy regarding racial slurs, then it needs to apply to students as well as employees.

Some ‘victory’

Candidate Trump was right. If this is winning, I'm tired of it.
