Sound Off

Sound Off for October 15, 2017

He spoke for many

I’m glad to see the Vice President walked out of the football game when he saw players taking a knee.

Consider the source

Steve Bannon called on Sen. Corker to resign if he had “any honor or decency.” This from a guy who climbed out from under a rock.

Not a Twitter storm moment

Four rangers killed. No tweets from commander in chief. Nothing. Way too busy attacking and playing golf. He is a disgrace.

Accountability all around

Regarding the Reese Road racial slurs … the students who created the incident should be punished as well.

Issues need debating

Hey, Mayor, why don’t you go on a conservative show like Hannity or Tucker Carlson so we can get the other side of the story and make an informed decision?

Careless management

How irresponsible not to have dual control over the drug storage bin. This reflects on your Ms. Sheriff.

Crossover support

The only Republican I’ve ever voted for in my lifetime was Eisenhower; but if I could, I’d vote for Bob Corker.

Not gonna happen

If you don't like hearing negatives about Trump, then Trump must stop doing and saying negative things.

Not why I read it

If Chris Johnson's columns continue to drift towards politics rather than humor, our thoughts and prayers are with him in his search for a new job.
