The sad thing is the city council members (except for Huff) and the legislative delegation (except for McKoon) apparently do not recognize they and the citizens were duped by the mayor.

Pezold was right

In Florida I covered all counties in the state, and municipalities. The Sunshine Law covered fair dealings. Columbus selling land worth 1/2 million to 3/4 of a million for $50,000 is outrageous! Pezold is correct.

They should listen

Congratulation to Mayor Teresa Tomlinson for proposing full funding for our world class aquatic center. Maximum usage the issue. I pray our council will see the vision.

Economy move

The Aquatic Center can survive on 45 hours a week. Times just need to be tweaked to best usage, and if an event gets scheduled, the increased revenue will warrant opening the necessary hours.

Left’s Utopia?

Liberal’s paradise: guaranteed employment, free comprehensive healthcare, education, food, housing, clothing and utilities; and only law enforcement has guns. And believe it or not, such a place does indeed already exist. It's called "prison."
