Sound Off

Sound Off for April 10, 2016

What else is new?

The GOP power brokers say Trump's temperament isn't presidential and Cruz is a liar. Sounds like what voters have been offered in the past. Same song, umpteenth verse.

That’s an easy one

Dear Mr. Gordy, to answer your question pertaining to accountability in Phenix City schools: There ain't none.

Delusionomics

We should give some territory to Bernie and all the leftist radicals, let them create their utopia, run it according to their social/governmental philosophy. And then see how many days it lasts before collapsing.

Corporate welfare

President Obama and the Treasury Department demand Pfizer pay its $35 billion in taxes. Let's freeze the bank accounts of Apple, Google, Merck, IBM, Microsoft, etc., until the U.S. is paid the $2.1trillion we’re owed.

Political payback

The Republican Party has created the likes of Josh McKoon. It now comes back to haunt them. Unfortunately the citizens of Columbus are being punished for his irresponsible behavior.

There’s still time

Been listening to Herr Drumpf since the summer. The only thing he hasn't said he will do is walk on water. I have faith, though. It is still six months until the election.

Two and out

Congress is the problem in Washington. They have a 10 percent approval rating with do-nothing incompetence. A two-term limit will fix that.

Outnumbered

If Trump is to NASCAR Drivers what Bernie is to a vegan coffee shop, there must be a whole lot more NASCAR drivers than coffee drinkers.
