Sound Off for April 25, 2016

‘Rebuilding’ year

The Atlanta Braves charge major league prices to watch a minor league game.

Political math

Presidents wiping out debts will cheat lenders. Presidents giving away their own money is fine; but not the taxpayers'. The GOP should vote against it. Parents invented the Tooth Fairy; there's no Money Fairy.

CEO math

Paraphrasing Mel Brooks, it's good to be Dan, Troy, Kessel and David. That said, you latter three are lagging behind Dan, so let's get with the program, fellas. A little hustle out there.

Barbaric

Georgia is one of only 19 states that still paddle children. As a former teacher, I had to hear that happen. It was horrible! Thankful that in the MCSD we do not allow it.

He did it

I hope Obama is proud of being the true idiot who made the decision to shut down the glorious 3rd Brigade. The Sledgehammer lives on!

Bernienomics

When Bernie bashes the One Percent, he should realize that only a third of them are Republicans. The rest are Democrats or independents. And only 39% consider themselves conservative. The rest are liberal or moderate.

Public abuse

Cursing in public used to be illegal, especially men cursing at women. No matter what led to the white man at the Regions ATM verbally assaulting the black woman, his behavior is totally inexcusable.
