Sound Off for May 22, 2016
Not a subtle distinction
What Hillary supporters do not understand is that people do not blame Hillary for Bill’s actions, but they cannot condone her blaming and intimidating the victims.
Compassion is great, but …
San Francisco spends more on each homeless person than a lot of career people earn. There's something very wrong with that picture.
You don’t need to know
Two-thirds of our school board are correct — they can't allow some trouble-making snoop to "stumble" across info they want kept secret, like financial mismanagement and incompetence.
They started it — we ended it
America should never apologize about Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We did not start the war. Did they ever apologize about Pearl Harbor? No.
Trump being Einstein in this analogy?
Obama was insinuating at a recent commencement address that Trump is ignorant. That’s like Forrest Gump calling Einstein mentally challenged.
Would driving distract you?
Your damn text messages and phone calls are not more important than the lives of my family. Put down your phone, pay attention and drive.
Dangerously misplaced loyalty
It’s shameful that some Republican Party leaders will pledge allegiance to a party above their own principles and agree to support Trump.
Not fiscal conservatism, for sure
Large numbers of people without health care and expecting the government to pick up the tab is not conservatism. It’s idiotic.
Sorry to see you go
