The upside

Thanks to council for an extra two hours of sleep. I’ve been getting up at 5 for swimming workouts since 1965. Now I can tell clients I’ll be in a little later in the morning.

Notable exception

Sometimes I get so upset with national Democrats that I swear I'm never voting Democratic again. Then I'm reminded of Congressman Sanford Bishop. As long as he's around, I'll vote for at least one.

Penny wise ...

The short-sightedness of the councilors who voted against funding the Aquatic Center to see it truly blossom and eventually pay for itself is insulting to anyone with a brain. Typical small town mentalities.

Inside job
