Sound Off for June 19, 2016

The gift that keeps giving

I wonder how many wives will give their husbands Viagra for Father's Day …

Losing good people

Two years ago MCSD was laying off teachers. Today they have a teacher shortage. Why? Because principals are running off teachers. Especially certain Title I high school principals, where they're needed the most.

Fast-track ‘greatness’

Thanks to the NRA, it takes longer to refill a prescription, get a driver’s license or adopt a pet than to buy an AK-47. Making America great again.

Closed circle?

The "Together Columbus" Initiative is good for the city, but how are these people chosen? It seems like they were selected in a board room, among themselves.

Political pendulum

Obama's popularity had much to do with reaction to America's drift to the right under Bush. Likewise, the popularity of Trump has much to do with reaction to America's drift to the left under Obama.

Not encouraging

Hilary says we will all have health care. Our veterans have government sponsored health care (VA) and some of them die waiting for a doctor’s appointment.

Devolution

Apes, baboons, monkeys, all primates. Darwin theorized we evolved from these primates. Trump evolved into a buffoon.

Time-lapse justice

Hillary Hypocrite criticized government for letting wealthy and celebrity lawbreakers off easy, saying "we need to change that." But not before she's "cleared" of prosecutable crimes, of course.

Amen

We sure have a lot of people preaching but not any doing.
