Abuse of power

Many legislators owe their continued political existence to the all-powerful Georgia Sheriffs Association. Allowing sheriffs to hire armies of attorneys, at taxpayer expense, to sue the city is absurd. Court needs to void the statute.

Body counts

Forty-nine people shot and killed in Orlando and the Democrats stage a sit-in. I sure didn’t hear a peep about the 300-400 people shot and killed in Chicago this year.

Contrasting responses

When the Republicans tried to have a protest in the House Chamber, Nancy Pelosi just cut the lights out.

Voice and mind of GOP

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee is a reflection of that party’s lack of talent and brains.

In continued reference to Jimmy Wetzel involving Phenix City politics, Elvis has not yet left the building.

Of course John Darr's attorney will appeal to the Supreme Court. He wants to soak the taxpayers of the city for another million dollars.
