With Trump at the helm, Republicans will soon have purged their party of any memory of its own past. "Lincoln" simply will have been the name of a town car.

The press corps, including the Columbus Ledger, should be ashamed of itself the way it's treating Mr. Trump. No matter what your personal feelings are.

Job creator

Say what you will, Donald Trump has created tens of thousands of jobs through his projects and companies . How many jobs have his detractors created?

Not my choice

I’m trying to figure out why my dear wife keeps subscribing to the Ledger for me to read such trash that the paper has become. What a waste of paper and money and a waste of my time.

Point

I don’t care who is running as the Republican candidate … Anything to keep Hillary out of the White House.

Counterpoint

To Bernie Sanders supporters, I also hate that he did not get the nomination. But we cannot allow Trump into the White House.

Core principle

I feel bad for the Chandra Levy family, but 100 guilty people should be set free before one innocent goes to jail.

Default victory

Hillary isn’t going to have to campaign anymore if Donald keeps running his mouth.
