The article on the shooting at the University of Texas 50 years ago did not mention that two people stopped the attack. One was a police officer and the other an armed citizen.

No trickle-up effect

It’s hard to watch the Olympics knowing that up on those mountains people are living in squalor. And I have a feeling that the revenue the Olympics make for Rio won’t benefit those people.
