Columbus baseball to host youth camp

The Columbus High School baseball team is hosting a camp for players ages 6 to 11. The camp runs 9:00 a.m. to noon July 10 to July 12 at Randy Jordan Field and costs $100 to attend. Registration is limited to the first 100 players.

The camp will be hosted by Columbus head coach Chad Mathis, the rest of the Blue Devils coaching staff and Columbus’ players. The three-day camp will devote time to hitting, fielding, sliding and pitching analysis.

Those interested in registering can email Mathis at chadmathis4@gmail.com. A registration form can be downloaded at the team’s website. All checks need to be written to Columbus High Baseball Booster Club. No refunds will be made available.
