BURLINGTON, Iowa (AP) -- Connor Fitzsimons hit a walk-off two-run homer with two outs in the eighth inning, as the Burlington Bees defeated the Clinton LumberKings 4-3 in the second game of a doubleheader on Wednesday.
The LumberKings took a 3-2 lead in the top of the eighth when Christopher Torres scored on a wild pitch.
Fitzsimons homered twice, scoring three runs while also driving in three in the win.
Connor Higgins (2-2) got the win in relief while Tyler Mitzel (1-3) took the loss in the Midwest League game.
Thomas Jones doubled and singled, also stealing a base for the LumberKings.
The teams split the doubleheader after Clinton won the first game 4-2.
