Who had the best athletic performance in the Columbus area last week?

Vote now and celebrate local athletes! If you would like to be considered for athlete of the week, please have your high school’s athletic director or team coach email their submission to khutchison@ledger-enquirer.com. Only one athlete submission from each local high school is eligible each week.

  • Quienton Walcott, Kendrick, scored 27 points in Kendrick’s 57-53 win over Central High School
  • Jada Williams, Spencer, scored 18 points in Spencer’s 64-6 win over Rutland
  • Tiara Tucker, Shaw, scored 20 points in Shaw’s 55-41 win over the Bainbridge Bearcats.
  • Bella Sanchez, Northside. Northside’s Girl’s Soccer season started Jan. 30.
