TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Heading into the bottom of the sixth inning Tuesday night, Alabama trailed by five runs. The Tide scored six times on its way to a 10-7 win over UAB.

Junior third baseman Brandon May’s two-run single to center snapped a 7-7 tie and put the Tide (16-7) ahead to stay.

Junior right-hander Austin Graham (1-0) earned his first win of the season with 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief. Nathan Kilcrease (Glenwood) wriggled out of a ninth-inning jam for his first save.
