Here are 2025 home game dates for Atlanta Braves Double-A baseball team in Columbus
The Atlanta Braves Double-A minor league baseball team that’s moving to Columbus has released its 2025 schedule of home games.
After they relocate to Columbus from Pearl, Mississippi, the Class AA franchise will play its Southern League home games at Synovus Park, the renamed historic baseball stadium formerly known as Golden Park, undergoing a $50 million renovation.
The yet-to-be-named Columbus team will start its 2025 season on the road before opening night at Synovus Park on April 15 against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
“Opening night will be a landmark day in the rich history of baseball in Columbus,” Double-A Braves general manager Pete Laven said in a news release. “Together with the city of Columbus, we look forward to welcoming fans to the new Synovus Park while showcasing the future stars of the Atlanta Braves.”
Columbus minor league baseball team’s 2025 home schedule
The 138-game schedule will include 69 home dates, comprising 12 homestands. Columbus will host the following teams on these dates:
- Montgomery Biscuits on May 20-25, July 4-6 and Sept. 2-7
- Pensacola Blue Wahoos on April 15-20, July 8-13 and Aug. 19-24
- Biloxi Shuckers on April 29-May 4 and June 24-29
- Birmingham Barons on May 6-11
- Tennessee Smokies on June 10-15
- Chattanooga Lookouts on July 22-27
- Rocket City Trash Pandas on Aug. 5-10.
The 2025 schedule will allow Columbus to play home games on Easter Sunday (April 20), Mother’s Day (May 11), Father’s Day (June 5) and Independence Day (July 4).
Game times, along with promotions and other special events, haven’t been announced.
