Carmike 15 will show Little League games live

Every game that Columbus' Northern All-Stars compete in will be shown on the Big Screen in Carmike 15, 5555 Whittlesey Road, Carmike Cinemas announced today.

The first game will be at 3 p.m. Saturday.

The seating is limited and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hot dogs, peanuts, cotton candy, popcorn, soft drinks and other baseball-related concessions will be sold inside the auditorium.

"We are proud to put our kids on the big silver screen along with all the Hollywood fanfare of a world premiere," Gary Krannacker, vice president for operations said in a release. "To add to the ballpark atmosphere, home runs and strike outs will be celebrated with prizes distributed to the audience."

It's free.

"If you can't be at the game live, this is the next best way to experience the excitement of our All-Stars competing in the Little League World Series," said Carmike marketing director Dale Hurst.
