Stefon Diggs Posts Video After Being Found Not Guilty
Former New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs is wasting no time getting back to work.
Diggs, a four-time Pro Bowler, was accused of assaulting his former live-in chef, Jamila Adams, during an alleged encounter on Dec. 2, 2025. In February, he pleaded not guilty to felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery. Adams, on the other hand, was allegedly demanding $5.5 million in damages.
On Tuesday afternoon, a jury found Diggs not guilty of attacking Adams.
"We have taken these allegations seriously from day one and that's exactly why we were eager for the facts to come to light through the legal process. Professional athletes have a target on their back. When someone sees a uniform and a contract, they see leverage; they see a settlement. And they're counting on that pressure in the court of public opinion to drive a default decision to settle regardless of the facts of the matter," Diggs' attorneys said, via ESPN. "The evidence has shown what we've maintained from day one: Mr. Diggs was wrongly accused, and this case represents exactly the kind of opportunistic targeting that players can face the moment they step off the field."
After being found not guilty on Tuesday, Diggs shared a video of him getting in a late-night workout.
Diggs, 32, is still a free agent. Perhaps his latest Instagram Story was his way of telling coaches that he's ready for OTAs.
Will Stefon Diggs face a suspension from the NFL?
According to NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, there's a chance Diggs could face discipline for this situation.
"We have been monitoring all developments in the matter which remains under review of the personal conduct policy," McCarthy said Tuesday.
Diggs had 85 receptions for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns during the 2025 season. It'll be interesting to see what his market is like at this stage in his career.
