Report: Mike Vrabel, Dianna Russini Had Private Pregnancy Getaway
Just when you think all the chaos surrounding Dianna Russini and Mike Vrabel is about to die down, TMZ drops a bombshell report this Wednesday.
On April 7, Page Six shared photos of Russini and Vrabel spending time together at a hotel in Arizona. One week later, Russini resigned from her role with The Athletic. That move didn't stop Page Six from later publishing photos from 2020 that show her at a bar in New York City with Vrabel.
"As seen in exclusive new pics obtained by Page Six, the New England Patriots coach and the NFL reporter were spotted together inside the dimly lit Tribeca Tavern in the early hours of March 11, 2020," Page Six reported. "They sat close to each other while conversing at the bar, at one point appearing to share a kiss."
After the second batch of photos were released, Vrabel announced that he'd undergo counseling. That actually forced him to miss Day 3 of the NFL Draft.
Although there hasn't been much buzz surrounding Russini and Vrabel this week, that's about to change.
According to TMZ, Russini and Vrabel rented a boat in Tennessee back in June 2021. It turns out Russini was pregnant at the time of this encounter.
"The timing of that outing might raise a few eyebrows, because Russini was pregnant at the time with her first child. Documents, obtained by TMZ Sports, show both signed the company waiver before heading out on a lake ... and our source says there was no visible PDA before they departed," TMZ reported. "We're also told Vrabel and Russini appeared cautious about photos being taken, and while she declined to pose at all with the staff ... Vrabel agreed to snap one pic, but allegedly asked that no images be publicly posted."
What's the latest on this situation?
Page Six previously reported that Vrabel and his wife, Jen, had an "emergency" marriage meeting in Utah.
"They were cordial and talkative, but not overly flirty," a source told Page Six. "They seemed fine. It was a friendly, regular meal."
As for Russini, it's being reported by Daily Mail that her marriage has "taken a serious hit" due to the allegations surrounding her and Vrabel.
Russini has not yet shared her side to the story, but that might be coming soon. At least that's what Jon "Stugotz" Weiner recently suggested.
"This is her story to share when she feels like sharing it," Weiner said. "It is not me. And it is not my obligation to talk to Dianna Russini privately on the phone and then share it with a radio audience that she doesn't want me to share it with, because it's not my story to tell. It's her story to tell on her timeline."
Whenever Russini finally releases a explanation as to what went down, that'll almost certainly become the No. 1 story in the NFL.
