Report: Bam Adebayo Hit Former Heat Teammate Tyler Herro In Fight Friday
Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo and his former teammate, Tyler Herro, were reportedly involved in a heated altercation this Friday.
According to ESPN insider Shams Charania, this altercation involving Adebayo and Herro took place at a practice court in Las Vegas. Apparently, the All-Star center "struck" Herro during this scuffle. No injuries have been reported at this time.
"The altercation occurred at a practice court in a Las Vegas hotel this morning, sources said -- starting when Adebayo approached Herro about comments the guard made critiquing the center on social media after their seven-year run in Miami ended," Charania wrote.
Earlier this month, an Instagram user shared a screenshot of a conversation where Herro had this to say about Adebayo: "It's a mf making 60 million but they worried about me and what I do. You should get paid 60 million to be a top tier defender on some nights? I'm just wondering."
Herro also said, "If I'm healthy I'm the one who needs help, who did Cleveland prioritize taking away in the playoffs?"
Clearly, Adebayo wasn't thrilled about those remarks.
Change of scenery for Herro.
The Heat won't have to worry about Adebayo having bad chemistry with Herro this upcoming season. They sent Herro, three first-round picks, a pick swap, a second-round pick, Kasparas Jakucionis, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kel'el Ware to the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis.
Herro averaged 19.5 points per game during his time in Miami. As of now, he's expected to be the No. 1 scoring option for Milwaukee.
There'll be plenty of eyes on Adebayo and Herro when the Heat and Bucks meet next season, make no mistake about it.
