August is shaping up to be a treat for WWE 2K26 fans. Just weeks after the developers rolled out a stability-focused update and teased a much larger patch, 2K has officially revealed the next wave of downloadable content. Arriving in August, the WrestleMania 42 DLC Pack brings the biggest show of the year into the game with new arenas, fresh Personas, and an updated entrance theme for one of WWE's biggest stars.

The announcement gives players another reason to jump back into WWE 2K26 as support for the game continues well beyond launch.

WWE 2K26 WrestleMania 42 DLC Release Date

The WrestleMania 42 DLC Pack releases on August 19.

The pack celebrates WWE's biggest event of the year by recreating both nights of WrestleMania 42 while adding alternate Persona versions of several Superstars.

Included in the WrestleMania 42 DLC Pack

  • WrestleMania 42 Night 1 Arena
  • WrestleMania 42 Night 2 Arena
  • Cody Rhodes WrestleMania 42 Persona
  • Alexa Bliss WrestleMania 42 Persona
  • Liv Morgan WrestleMania 42 Persona
  • Liv Morgan's updated entrance theme, "Trouble"

The addition of both WrestleMania arenas gives players more authentic presentation options for Universe Mode and Exhibition, while the new Personas offer alternate versions of Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan inspired by their WrestleMania 42 appearances.

Earlier This Month's Update Improved Stability

Before revealing the new DLC, the WWE 2K26 team released a smaller game update focused primarily on quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

Highlights from the update included:

  • General: Stability and performance improvements across the game.
  • The Island: New shop items and bundles were added.
  • Create Suite: Fixed an issue that prevented Entrance Motions from being saved after closing the game.
  • Universe Mode: Casual promo attire now displays correctly after contested action sequences, and non-default attires can once again be used during non-casual promo actions.
  • Cutscenes: Additional stability improvements.

Bigger Update Still Planned

While the recent patch focused on polishing the overall experience, the developers have already confirmed that a much larger update is still on the way ahead of Ringside Pass Season 4.

That update is expected to include more substantial gameplay improvements along with additional content based on weeks of community feedback. Combined with the WrestleMania 42 DLC arriving on August 19, August is shaping up to be one of the busiest months yet for WWE 2K26 players.
