Co-Main Event Breakdown
While the main event is the clear headliner, the co-main event features a compelling lightweight showdown between two ranked lightweight stars with polarizing styles in Benoit Saint-Denis vs. Paddy Pimblett.
The No. 5-ranked Saint-Denis is a relentless French finisher known for his vicious ground-and-pound and submission game, while the No. 9-ranked Pimblett is a charismatic British showman with a more slick style of grappling and a penchant for dramatic victories.
With both men on the cusp of the lightweight title picture, the stakes are incredibly high, and the matchup promises fireworks as long as it lasts.
Paddy's craftiness on the ground will be the key here, and if he can be relentless in the same way Renato Moicano was in his fight with Saint Denis, he can find a finish.
It will be a tall task against "BSD" however, as the French fighter is a buzzsaw on the feet, and more than willing to dish out devastating offense in the clinch.
Underrated Fights
The preliminary card is packed with intriguing matchups that could easily steal the show.
Robert Whittaker vs. Nikita Krylov (Light Heavyweight)
This is the featured prelim, pitting former middleweight champion Whittaker, moving up to 205 pounds, against the dangerous Krylov. It's a massive test for Whittaker in a new division and a chance for Krylov to cement himself in the division against a former champion.
Cody Garbrandt vs. Adrian Yanez (Bantamweight)
This is a must-see striker's duel. Garbrandt, a former champion looking to rediscover his old magic, faces Yanez, the striker who primarily uses crisp boxing techniques and is always in exciting fights. Expect high-level boxing and a high probability of a finish.
Wang Cong vs. Tracy Cortez (Flyweight)
This will be a fun fight between two contrasting styles. Wang is incredibly explosive on the feet while Cortez likes to grind out gutsy decision wins by mixing everything. This will be a big test for Wang who previously defeated current champion, Valentina Shevchenko, in a kickboxing match:
