Two coaches with Bi-City ties were named Wednesday as nominees for the 2015 Broyles Award.

Georgia Southern's Dell McGee and Florida State's Charles Kelly were among 34 assistant coaches named.

The Broyles Award is given to College Football's Assistant Coach of the Year. It is presented by the Rotary Club of Little Rock and Delta Dental.

McGee is in his second season as an assistant at Georgia Southern. McGee coaches the running backs.

Last season, the Eagles were the nation's best in rushing with 384 yards per game. This season, the Eagles are rushing for 364.3 yards per game.
