Chattahoochee Valley loses both games to Faulkner

Both Chattahoochee Valley Community College basketball teams lost to Faulkner on Monday night at Key Hall.
The Pirates lost 84-83 in overtime.
Anthony Moore scored 23 to lead CVCC. Pernell Vickerstaff came off the bench to earn a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Hassan Buggs added 11 points. Kimiun Woods had 13 assists to go with his seven points.
CVCC has lost twice to Faulkner this season by a total of three points. Faulkner hit a shot at the buzzer to win the earlier meeting 74-72.
The Pirates made just 13 of 32 free throws in Monday's game.
In the women's game, Faulkner won 76-52. Jamese Abney scored 17 to lead CVCC.
