Chattahoochee Valley sweeps past Enterprise State

Will Campbell drove in three runs in each game to lead the Chattahoochee Valley baseball team to a 3-1, 11-1 sweep of Enterprise State on Thursday at Howard Lake Field.

Chase Burks won Game 1, pitching a complete-game (7 innings) three-hitter. The only run he allowed as unearned. He struck out six.

The second game was shortened to six innings due to the mercy rule.

Jordan Lee picked up the win, allowing one run on five hits.

Trent Simpkins hit a homer and drove in five runs. JT Thomas went 2-for-4, and Nolan Greckle went 2-for-3.

CVCC plays a doubleheader at Enterprise State at 1 p.m. Saturday.
