Ex-Hardaway swimmers help South Georgia to runner-up finish in JUCO finals
A pair of former Hardaway swimmers helped South Georgia College to a runner-up finish in the National Junior College championships earlier this month at Fort Pierce, Fla.
Alex Haymond finished fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (21.13), seventh in the 100 freestyle (47.17) and eighth in the 200 freestyle (1:45.44).
Mitchell Graham finished tied for third in the 50 breaststroke (25.76), fifth in the 200 breaststroke (2:07.6), sixth in the 100 breaststroke (56.6), ninth in the 200 IM (2:01.02)
The two were on three relays team that each finished second: 200 medley (1:33.63), 400 medley (3:29.89) and 400 freestyle (3:10.11).
Haymond was also on the 200 freestyle relay team that finished fourth (1:26.49). Graham was on the 800 freestyle relay team that finished fourth (7:23.75).
