Chattahoochee Valley falls to Shelton State

The Chattahoochee Valley Community College baseball team dropped a 13-12 decision to Shelton State on Tuesday afternoon.

Trent Simpson suffered the loss. He allowed one run on a hit and two walks.

AJ Willoughby went 3-for-5 with a pair of RBIs. JT Thomas and Jaylen Smith were both 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

CVCC leads the ACCC South, while Shelton State lead the North.

Shelton State (26-14) has won 11 straight. CVCC (32-10) plays at Wallace State-Selma on Thursday.
