Golf notebook: Pair score aces at Bull Creek

Some golfers go a lifetime without scoring an ace, or even seeing one made.

A Bull Creek Golf Course quartet saw two of its members ace two par 3s on March 10.

Don Davidson was the first to record an ace. He used a 7-iron for the 125-yard shot on the East Course’s third hole while playing partners Jeff Blankenship, Steve Brady and Gene Bragg looked on.

Then on the 109-yard 14th hole, Bragg pulled out a pitching wedge and matched Davidson’s earlier feat.
