Isabel Rijos finishes in tie for 15th in Girls Championship

Columbus’ Isabel Rijos finished in a tie for 15th Wednesday in the GSGA Girls Championship.

Rijos, a Northside High product who will play at Dalton State in the fall, shot a final-round 77 Wednesday to finished at 16-over 232.

Columbus High’s Faith Scott finished in a tie for 41st at 32-over 248 after shooting a 77.

Lauren Lightfritz of Suwanee won at 1-over 217.

The tournament was played on the Plantation Course at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
