Ben Carr tied for 36th in Future Masters

Columbus High’s Ben Carr shot a 1-over-par 71 and is tied for 36th after the first round of the 2016 Future Masters at the Dothan Country Club.

Daniel Davis (Columbus) and Evans Copeland (Brookstone) both shot 4-over 74s. They are tied for 103rd.

John Calhoun (Columbus) shot a 76 and is tied for 139th. Cole Kirkland (Northside) shot a 78 and is tied for 181st.

Brock Nixon of Kennesaw, Ga., shot a 64 and leads by three shots.

The second round is scheduled for Friday.
