TriCity Striders Youth Track & Field Team takes 40 to Junior Olympics
The TriCity Striders Youth Track & Field Team will take 40 athletes to the Junior Olympics in Houston.
The athletes range in ages from 6 to 18. They qualified at a district meet in Savannah, Ga., recently.
The athletes are Jazlyn Gosha, Aniyah Brannon, Shanieceia Brannon, JaKayla Fields, Abrianna Santana, Treyvon Jones, Kareema Grier, Karon Delince, Tyrese McPhatter, Rayshaun Bradley Jr., Dion English, Alex Tanksley, Matthew Manns, Amos Wood, Miguel Christian, Haley Wilson, Sarah Wilson, Eric Wilson, Jonathan Myrthil, Quandaveus Gilliam, John Phillips, Brittany Floyd, Monica McNeil, Faith Carpenter, Giovanna Avila, Alex Britton, Al Britton Jr., Kendall Billingsley, Keldrick Lee, Jenay Marion, Deja Delaine, C'ira Rawls, Rachel Givens, Rachel Jackson, Sara Munguia, Abrianna Santana, Alexis Morris, Jaci Howell, Ariel Hill, Tyrone Davis, Jaythen King. Coaches Al Britton, Howard Galloway, Charles Fortune, Michelle Aragon, Jacqueline Mackie and Tamara Scott.
The Junior Olympics run from July 25-Aug. 7.
